A very beautiful French Impressionist oil painting on canvas of an Belle Epoque era winter street scene. The artist has depicted a solitary horse and carriage at a Parisian intersection with the early morning sun just beginning to tinge the sky a lovely shade of pink. The street and trees are laden with snow. Signed lower right, G Legg and housed in its original giltwood frame. It is in the manner of the well known French artist, Edouard Leon Cortes.
