A set of 2 oil paintings by the listed French artist, Pierre Stefani (1938- ). These lovely Post Impressionist works depict the Seine at Notre Dame and a Parisian Flea Market scene. They both include many figures under a large cloud strewn sky. They are signed lower left and right and verso as well. Titled verso by the artist, Les Puces and La Seine et Notre Dame.
Stefani is a French Post War and contemporary painter who was born in 1938. He is well known for his landscapes and coastal scenes with figures. He was largely influenced by the 1950's Post War period. Now at age 85, he no longer paints.
