Large Porcelain Gilt Chinese Charger 14" Diameter
Large beautifully hand painted Chinese charger measuring 14" in diameter. The central panel depicts a traditional Chinese scene with a Chinese junk on a lake. The panel is framed by a crane symbolizing long life and a turtle symbolizing knowledge and perseverance. The whole is surrounded by a gilt and scalloped edge. We estimate the age to be approximately 1940’s.
