Large Carved Gilt Convex Mirror, 18.25" Diameter
Vintage carved giltwood convex wall mirror with a beautiful decorative frame. It is an attractive, heavy mirror with the frame crafted with a lovely rope twist design and gilt finish. The gilt reveals just a hint of the red bole oxide beneath. It dates to the mid to late 20th-Century in age and is probably Belgian in origin. This fine quality large mirror is ideal for brightening dark hallways and shadowy corners. Hanging wire and hanging eyelet to the verso.
