French Comolera Bronze Sparrow Sculpture
Early 20th-Century French bronze sparrow bird after sculptor Paul Comolera (1818-1897). Signed verso by the foundry. This lovely antique is simply wonderful to hold. Comolera, a well known animal sculptor, was a pupil of Francois Rude and taught Jules Moigniez. This collectible figurine is superb placed upon a book and is also a wonderful paperweight and impressive desk accessory. Book not included.
