Rare collectible pair of English Staffordshire fox stirrup cups in the form of a fox head. They are lovely hand molded and realistically hand painted porcelain cups. They would be a perfect addition to the equestrian enthusiast's collection. Stirrup cups date back to the late 18th and 19th century, and they are a unique drinking vessel which was traditionally presented to riders on horseback prior to leaving or arriving home from a hunt while their feet remained in the stirrups.
