Lovely antique pair of mercury glass candlesticks with lightly painted floral decorations. These candlesticks have a pretty 'watery' reflection common to genuine mercury glass. Old mercury glass was hand blown with double walls and has a beautiful lustrous finish. 'Silvered' mercury glass is one of the oldest forms of art glass.
