Lovely antique pair of mercury glass candlesticks with traces of lightly painted decorations. These candlesticks have a pretty 'watery' reflection common to genuine mercury glass. Old mercury glass was hand blown with double walls and have a beautiful lustrous finish. 'Silvered' mercury glass is one of the oldest forms of art glass.
