Antique French Blue Confit Pot
Antique French confit pot from Martres-Tolosane in the South of France. This pot or jar is hand thrown, glazed a lovely soft blue color and has charming handles known as 'ears'. It retains the jar's lid as well. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat before refrigeration. It displays beautifully and is perfect with a bouquet of fresh flowers or used in the kitchen to hold utensils.
