Antique French Blue Confit Pot

Antique French confit pot from Martres-Tolosane in the South of France. This pot or planter is hand thrown, glazed a lovely blue and has charming handles known as 'ears'. It retains the jar's lid as well. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat. It displays beautifully and is perfect with a bouquet of fresh flowers or used in the kitchen to hold utensils.

Dimensions: 9” Length x 8.5” Width x 10” Height

Condition is good, old stable crack, fritting, wear consistent with age and use as shown
