A fine quality 19th Century equestrian oil painting on canvas of a majestic chestnut horse in a stable. This English School painting is superbly executed with exacting realism and fine anatomical detail, especially the horse’s coat and head. Of exceptional quality and condition, the work conveys a sense of grandeur and nobility. It is signed HL and dated 84 for 1884, in the lower left corner. Presented in the original swept giltwood frame.

Dimensions: 28.25” Length x 2” Width x 22” Height, Sight: 24” Length x 18” Height

Condition is very good, wired and ready to hang
