An early large English Delftware faience charger hand painted with a chinoiserie design. This lovely charger is hand molded and hand painted. It depicts a tree and floral decoration painted with cobalt blue in the lovely aesthetic expressive style of the Bristol Delft painters. Like most English 18th-Century Delft, it is unmarked.
