American Primitive Mustard Colored Divided Cutlery Tray
Early 19th-Century Americana mustard colored painted tray with center and end dividers, canted sloped sides and protruding shelf base. This primitive tray was probably used for cutlery or as a tool caddy. It has a simple yet functional design. It retains the desirable original dry mustard colored paint surface and shows traces of underling blue. It is in good sound condition except the handle has been lost. It is a lovely old piece of American folk art.
