Antique English handcrafted copper ale warmer. This lovely old wine or ale muller is in the shape of a boot. In the winter in England would have been filled with ale, wine or beer and spices and then placed into the coals of the hearth to warm the contents. A great historical conversation piece

...when I did always drink cold beer.....I was often troubled with exceeding pain in the head.....also with stomach-ache, toothache, cough, cold, and many other diseases..
