18th-Century Delft Peacock Plate Maker's Mark
Dutch Delftware blue and white 'Peacock' plate, It is circa late 18th Century It is hand painted with an ochre rim, the center is painted in cobalt with a vase containing an arrangement of peacock feathers and flowers. The surround is decorated with stylized flower heads against a scrolling ground. Maker's mark on the reverse.
